Long time no post...

I brought the Gears woman to a finish long ago, but never posted it on the blog. Here is one of the shots

more images and break downs can be seen on my site at www.yinkaAlade.com

I made this skull mainly because I've never sculpted anything from a cube in Zbrush. Had to try it out and it came out pretty okay.

  1. Brother. I must mention 1 thing I noticed when checking your Gnasher out. While the renderings were so good it brought tears of joy to my eyes, seeing it represented as a break-action shotgun nearly brought tears of horror to my eyes:

Gnashers (Game-version ones, anyway) are not break action; the lever is there for a reason. The lever that you put finger holes on is moved forward in a sweeping back-and-forth motion by using the back of the hand to push the lever forward, and that causes the action to cycle the next shell into the chamber while extracting the old one at the same time through 2 short but separate mechanical processes (the new shell is chambered and loaded by pulling said handle back into position against the handle). The shells themselves are loaded into the breech (a rectangular "hatch" that opens in the metal housing above the pistol grip above the pistol grip handle). The gnasher can't be broken like that and still function quickly; she'd have to reload after every shot. It looked frigging wonderful, though.

For video evidence of what I meant, see here:

Also, sorry in advance if you were already aware of this, and FREAKING great work, once again!

    Cheers!
